We build websites and apps with AI that does real work.
For businesses that want AI in their product or operations, and want to know what is realistic before they spend on it.

What we build
Five ways to put AI to work. Each one ends with software you own.
-
AI-powered websites
A fast business website with an assistant that answers, qualifies and books. -
AI web apps
Internal tools and customer products where AI handles a real part of the work. -
AI mobile apps
iOS and Android apps with AI features that respect battery, privacy and patchy signal. -
AI integration for businesses
Assistants, knowledge bases and automations connected to the tools you already use. -
AI strategy and prototyping
Find out what is realistic, and test it on your own data before committing to a build.
How a project runs
Five stations. At each one you leave with something you keep.
-
Discover
We look at how the work is done today, where time goes, and what data exists.
You keep A written summary of goals, constraints and the most promising ideas.
-
Prototype
A small working version on your real data, to see what AI can and cannot do here.
You keep The prototype, and an honest note on its limits.
-
Build
The production version, with tests, review steps and an interface people want to use.
You keep Source code in your repository, from the first commit.
-
Integrate
Connected to your website, WhatsApp, CRM, ERP or internal tools, with scoped access.
You keep Documentation of every connection and permission.
-
Launch and improve
Released carefully, then improved using what real users ask and where it falls short.
You keep Logs, a review routine and a list of next improvements.
Where it helps
The same ideas, applied to different kinds of business.
Clinics
- Answer questions about treatments, prices and insurance from your own policies
- Offer open appointment slots and send bookings to staff for confirmation

- Answer order-status and returns questions from your store data
- Write first drafts of product descriptions for review
- Sort and tag incoming support messages
Real estate
- Qualify enquiries by budget, area and timing before an agent calls
- Match requirements to current listings
- Book viewings into agents’ calendars from the website or WhatsApp
- Extract key terms from leases and contracts for review
Restaurants
- Take table bookings on WhatsApp, including dietary notes
- Answer menu and allergen questions from your current menu
- Handle large-group and event enquiries, then pass them to a manager
- Summarise reviews into a short weekly note
Professional services
- Search policies, templates and past work in plain language
- Draft proposals and first replies from your own material
- Pull data out of invoices, forms and contracts
- Prepare meeting notes and follow-up tasks
How we work
What you can expect, written down before the first call.
- Your data stays yours
- We agree where data may go before any is shared. AI providers and settings are chosen to match, and access is limited to what each task needs.
- You own the code
- Everything is built in your repositories and cloud accounts. If we stop working together, nothing has to be rebuilt.
- Everything is documented
- Architecture, prompts, integrations and runbooks are written down as we go, not at the end.
- Clear estimates
- Each phase has a written scope and estimate before it starts. If something changes, you hear about it before the work does.
About the studio
A small studio for AI application engineering.
Zad Project designs and builds websites, web apps and mobile apps with AI built in, and connects AI to the systems businesses already run on. The name comes from the Arabic word zad: provisions you carry for a journey. That is the idea behind the work: you should come away with things you keep.
Questions
We are not sure what AI could do for us. Is that a problem?
No, that is a common starting point. Choose “Not sure yet” on the form and describe how your business works today. The first conversation is about finding out whether AI would help at all.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on scope, so we give a written estimate after the first conversation rather than a price list. Strategy and prototyping work is a good way to get a firm estimate for a larger build.
Which AI providers do you work with?
We choose per project based on quality, cost, latency and where your data is allowed to go, and we build so the provider can be changed later.
Can you add AI to the website or app we already have?
Often, yes. We review what you have first, and tell you plainly if adding to it or starting fresh would be the better option.
Who will we be working with?
Directly with the person designing and building your project. No account managers in between.
Tell us what you are trying to do.
A few sentences are enough. We will reply by email with questions or a suggested next step.
